The topic of my workshop is Using Microsoft Movie Maker for Media Festival Projects. As a teacher, I find many students who wish to be in the Media Festival, but lack of skills prevents them from completing the project. The purpose of this workshop is to give students the skills they need to successfully complete a Media Festival Project.
Population
This workshop focuses on engaging students to create innovative Media Festival projects.
It is geared to students at the elementary level to use in the present and future years.
Outcomes
To aid students in the development of technology projects.
Enhance student learning through meaningful projects.
Provide differentiated instruction for struggling learners.

The 21st century teaching and learning cultivates a need to provide teachers and students with the newest and most effective technology available. Students more than ever need highly engaging lessons to capture their attention, and teachers need to be armed with the latest and greatest technology skills to infuse them with best practices in pedagogy.
